We wish to thank everyone who took part in the lobbying event at County Hall, Kendal, last Thursday. It was a great success. Media coverage was good. The County Council has reiterated its concerns regarding the proliferation of wind turbines in Cumbria. We have requested that the Local Authorities receive more support from County Planning Officers when faced with applications for single turbines that are well in excess of the DECC definition of small scale.
