Allerdale have changed the venue of their final information session on the draft Local Plan. This will now take place at Washington Square, Workington (next to Costa Coffee) between the hours of 10am and 4pm on Wednesday July 12th.
The period of public consultation on the draft Local Plan will continue until 31st July. Please submit a comment if you have not already done so. Once the consultation ends, our opportunity to have any influence on this massively important local document ends with it.

EC8 is the chapter most directly concerned with renewable energy, particularly wind energy, and it can be found by scrolling through the chapters in the Core Strategy. Despite the size of the whole document, EC8 itself occupies just a few pages and will not take you long to read so please do not be put off.
