At this month's Development Panel three applications for single wind turbines were refused by councillors. The refusals were, unusually, in accordance with the planning officer's recommendation in all three cases. Our congratulations to residents of Boltongate, Cleamire and Charity Lane!
The icing on the cake for us is that an application for a 50m met mast at Brackenridge, Broughton Moor, was also refused and quite rightly so because the developer applying for it already has a met mast on the neighbouring farm!
